advertising and posters, Mrs
Cecil Thome. The club voted to
give $3 to the cancer fund. Mrs
Anna Llndstrom received the
door prize.
At the Bunchgrass Rebekah
meeting Thursday evening, April
21, seals were given to Mrs
Ernest Hellker, Mrs David Rlet
mann and Mrs Cecil Thome for
the unwritten work. Mrs Omar
Rletmann, district deputy pres
ident, presented the seals. After
the meeting, refreshments were
served at Stefani's Fine Foods In
'nonor of Mrs Anna Llndstrom's
birthday.

Pasco Junior College open house
In Pasco Tuesday of last week.
Guatemala was studied at the
American Legion Auxiliary

child welfare chairman both of
Pendleton were present. Repre
sentatives were present from
Heppner. There were 19 there.
A no host dinner was served In
Stefani's Fine Foods and the
business meeting followed. Ro

commander. A discussion was
held on membership and other
Important matters. The Veterans
Housing bill that was defeated
will be on the ballot again this
fall.
Mrs Vester Hams, chairman of
the American Legion auxiliary
junior activities, and the junior
auxiliary girls made candy and
sent to Susan Hams in the Shrine
hospital In Portland. Girls as
sisting with the candy were
Frances McLeod, Elaine Gaars
land, Teresa and Tanya Tucker,
Marlcne and Anita Crawford and
Karen and Cheryl Hams.
