A new 50 star flag and a new
Orecon flag was raised at the
Memorial athletic field at the
school Friday afternoon, March
22. Members of the American
Legion post assisted with the
ceremony. Rev Rod MacKenzie
gave the prayers and Evelyn
Jepsen gave a speech on the his
tory of the flag. The school band
also played a few numbers.
200 feet of new side walk has
been built between the school ,
buildings. Some new lawn will i
be put In later.
The first league baseball game
will be held here with Umatilla,
April 8 at 3 p m.
The Morrow county spelling
contest will be held here, April
9, beginning at 10 n m.
