suit, a white hat with veil and

bouquet of yellow, green and
white baby orchids.
Miss lieulah Davla, niece of
the groom, was rrald of honor.
In a pale green knit suit with
beige accessories and she wore
a corsage or yellow and green
baby orchids.
Edward Baker was best man
for his brother.
The bride was given in mar
rlage by her father and the Rev
Charles Knox officiated at the
double ring ceremony.
A reception followed the cer
emony, with Miss Davis at the
Mil
punch bowl. Miss Judy Darnell
serving coffee and Mrs Robert
Steagall cutting and serving the
three tiered cake, which was
topped with a miniature bride
and groom.
The brides mother wore a
chartreuse knit drew with black
accessories and the groom's mo
ther chose a turquoise suit with
black accessories. Both had cor
sages of yellow carnations.
Lovely arrangements of daffo
dils, white carnations and white
stock with a background of green
were placed about the rooms.
Following a three day wedding
trip to Boise. Idaho the couple
are making their home in Lex
ington. Guests at the wedding were

Pan Crafts Study
I The newly elected officers of
the women's auxiliary of the
'Lexington Oil Coop met Mon
day at the home of Mrs Kenneth
Palmer to make plans for the
March meeting, to be held at the
Lexington City Hall, March 7 at
1:30 p m.
Smocked pillow tops will be
made and all who wish to par
ticipate in this craft are asked
to bring one and one-half yards
of corduory and needles and
thread.
Other crafts will be shown and
plans will be made for the com
ing year.
Membership Is open to anyone I
who is Interested.

Thirteen members of the Rhea

The American Legion auxil
iary met at the home of Mrs

Plans were made for the sell
ing of Popples on May 20 21. A
cooked food sale will be held at
the Red and White store on
February 27 to help raise money
to send a girl to Girl's State.
The auxiliary will have a fam
ily potluck dinner at the Legion
hail on March 14 in honor
the Post's 41st birthday.
