ship was recognized In Morrow
county last week when a pearl
clover pin was presented to

the fifth annual 4 II leaders
banquet held on January 6 at
the American Legion hall In
Heppner. Mrs McCabe is the first
leader to receive such an honor
in Morrow county, according to
Esther Klrmis. Morrow county
extension agent
Mrs E M Baker, lone and Mrs
N C Anderson, Heppner were also
honored with Bold clovers. Big
nlfylng 10 years of 411 leader
ship.
The 4-H leaders banquet Is an
annual event In which 4-H lead
ers, their husband or wife, and
lunior leaders and their parents
are feted by the Pacific Power
and Llcht Company to recognize
their work with the youth of the
countv. Pins are presented for
each leader upon completion of
their first, second, third, fourth,
fifth. 10th. and 15th year. In
tervening years of leadership
are recognized by a certificate.
