en club at her home Monday
night, with Mrs Algy Taylor as
co-hostess. Guests were Mrs

ter of Tacoma, Wash.

ing the names of grandparents.
Mrs Nate Macomber read the

Mrs Florence Root gave a talk
on winter care of bulbs.
Members were asked to bring
gifts for Christmas for the state
hospital in Pendleton to the Nov
ember meeting, which will be
held at the home of Mrs Nate
Macomber.

dinner guest at the home of Mrs
William Sweet, president of the
Medford Junior Women's Club.
Later Mrs Tatone spoke at a
meeting of the club. She and her
nioce were overnight guests at
the home of Mrs Tatone's neph
ew, Mr and Mrs Bill Wilson,
former residents here.

Mrs Effie Miller has returned

she has been for the past three
and a half months at the home
of her son-in-law and daughter,

lowing surgery on her eyes In
July. Mr and Mrs Harding
brought her as far as Klamath
Falls, where they were met by
Mr and Mrs Bob Miller and their
guests, Mr and Mrs Clyde Sham
hart, who brought Mrs Miller
home.

The home economics club of
Greenfield Grange met Wednes
day of last week at the grange
hall with Mrs Royal Rands, Mrs
Claud Worden and Mrs Ray
Brown as hostesses. Luncheon
was served at 12:30 p m. Guests
were Mrs Rosa LaChance and
