Group singing was enjoyed and Mrs Ernest Heliker, Noble Grand, presented bouquets to Mrs Delia Corson, who has been a member of the lodge for the most years and one to Mrs Lewis Ball, a member for the least years. Re freshments were served by Mrs Cecil Thome, Mrs Cleo Drake and Mrs Echo Palmateer. A cake made and decorated by Mrs Thome was served. Elks Have Dance And Smorgasbord Last Saturday Evening a smorgasbord was enjoyed by members of Heppner Elks lodge and their wives at the Elks tern pie. Mrs Clara B Gertson welcom ed the guests and introduced the program which included a piano selection by Joanne Schmidt, a reading by Carol Anne Anderson and selections by a flute trio, Linda Valentine, Judy Schmidt and Laura Lee Sumner, accompanied by Jeanne Schmidt. The program was ar ranged by Mrs John Pfeiffer. As is traditional a snapshot, taken by Miss Leta Humphreys, of each girl and her mother was presented to the guests.
