Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clark and

Friday and Saturday at the home
of Mrs. Arvilla Swanson and Mrs.
Mary Swanson. He is a nephew of
the late William and Emil Swan
son. They also visited relatives
in Idaho and Seattle.

Sunday school contest and Mr.
and Mrs. Elbe Akers received a
prize, a picture of Christ, for win
ning the contest. Rev. George
Nichols of the Nazarene church
in Hermiston was the main speak
er. He was accompanied by Mrs.

quet was Road Signs to Heaven.
The ladies of the Baptist church
served the food. They were Ruby
Nichols, Mrs. John Hatfield and
Mrs. Matthew Ball.

ter Mildred, made a trip to Bick
leton, Wash Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Verner Troedson
plan to fly to Detroit, Mich. Tues
day of this week where they wifl
purchase a car. They will then
go to Floriday and spend a few
weeks and take in the Orange
Bowl football game.
Mrs. Gordon White was a pa
tient in the Pioneer Memorial
hospital last week. Mrs. C. E.
Brenner cooked at the school dur
ing her absence.

left Monday for his home in Me
Pherson, Kan.
