Cash Prizes Offered for Naming
These Weil-Known Local Santas
Because Heppner merchants
"Feel Like Santa Claus" and this
week ere giving away the first
of 22 weekly prizes, the Gazette
Times wants its readers to get
asquainted with all the Santas
and is offering special prizes to
the first readers who can identify
all the Santa pictures on this
page. The GT "Feels Like Santa"
too, and is proving it by giving
cash and other gifts to early-bird
"Stnta Identifiers."
HERE ARE THE RULES
Each of the accompanying pict
ures of local business-men and-
women Santas is numbered. Just
Identify bY name, or by the name
of the store which he or she owns
or in which he works, all 22 of
he Santas. Mark the names un
der the pictures, or on a separate
sheet of paper wim me numoei
of each Santa and bring or mail
to Gazette Times. As each entry
is received it will be numbered
in order and the first four pers
ons to correctly name all (he
Santas listed (or most nearly cor
rect list) will receive the follow
ing prizes:
1st prize $7.50 in casn,
2nd prize S5.C0 in cash.
3rd and 4th prizes each a 1
year subscription to the Gazette
times (or a 1-year extension to
your present subscription.)
Remember time Is important,
for the first correct list wins the
first prize and so on. All entries
must be received by the Gazette
Times before 5 p.m. Wednesday,
Dec. 4, and winners will be an
nounced in next week's paper.
Just a hint . . . every Santa
pictured here is also shown in
some store's advertisement in this
week's paper! Better look 'em
over carefully, though.

The Lexington volleyball girls
went to Boardman Monday night
where they won fourth in a
tournament. Cecil Jones and Eil
een Padberg drove buses for them.

and Roger were weekend visitors

is attending the University of
Oregon.
