Funeral services were held in
Walla Walla on Monday for Mrs.
Marietta Fridley, mother of Mrs.
Oris Padberg. Mrs. Fnaiey was
born in 1872, and lived a good
part of her life with her husband
in the locality, moving in 19.30
to Walla Walla, Washington
where they lived until the death
of her husband in 194.J, wnen
she then moved to Stockton,
California where she made her
home with a daughter, Mrs. Ger
ald Schroder until her deatTi Jan

said he would favor the bill if
it could be amended to include

tee held a hearing on Thursday
on HB 163, the school district

the committee favored the bill.
Mrs. Lucille Gideon, Legislative

later that she is really optimistic
this session over the future of the
