Wilbur Steagall returned home
Saturday after a few days spent
in Pendleton where he received
medical attention.
The Women's Fellowshio
group met at the church on Tues
day afternoon with the president
Bertha Dinges presiding. The
minutes were read and approved
and committees were aDDointed
for a Fellowship dinner to be held
at the church some Sunday in
January following church. Also
a committee was appointed to
pian not meals for the men work
ing when the work davs start on
the remodeling of the church.
Next meeting will be the third
Tuesday in January and there
will be a "kitchen shower" for
the church kitchen. Devotionals
and program was in charse of
Mrs. Norman NorthruD. Refresh
ments or cookies and coffee were
served later.

food, their use in the bodv. and
seven basic food crouDs as a
guide to good eating. For three

thing they ate. and then totaled
the points allotted the various
uems to determine their rating
on eating habits and pood diet.
Balanced menus were planned,
calories determined, daily re
quirements checked, and other
correlated studies, such as a unit
on dairying, and breakfasts
around the world.

a nice Christmas just as they

Seventh Grade
The two seventh grade classes
are to join soon for a Christmas
party. Mrs. Boulden has invited
Mr. Mallon's room and has ap
pointed students to separate
committees in order tn be in
readiness for it.
Sports News
At the Heppnor-Echo basket
ball game, five sixth grade boys
received a chance to play. They
were William Cox, Mike Lesser,
Shan Applegate, and Larry Smith.
.Seventh and eighth grade bas
ketball teams will be chosen on
December 11 at 12:30 in Mr. Sny
der's room.
