row County Weather Research As
sociation whose offices are lo
cated at Butter Creek Junction in
Morrow County. The object of
the program will be to increase
the rainfall in the areas outlined
below. The equipment to be used
will be silver iodide (Agl) coke
burning generators. The fuel
used will be coke impregnated
with silver iodide (Agl). The
boundaries for the area to be af
fected are as follows: Starting at
the east county line of Morrow
County, midway of Section 4,
Twp. 3 N., Rge. 27 E., thence west
southwest along the county road
to the southwest corner of Sec.
tion 35, twp. 3 N., Rge. 27 E.,
thence west to the county line
between Morrow and Gilliam
Counties, thence south-southeast
along State Highway 74 to the
southwest corner of Section 31,
Twp. 1 S, Rge. 26 E., thence east
to the Umatilla County line,
thence north and west along the
Morrow-Umatilla County boun
dary to the point of beginning.
The operation will be from ap
proximately November 15, 1956 to
June m, 190Y. ine area 10 De ai

gram will be same as the above

lecting a new stock of drugs and
sundries, as well as buying fix
tures for that line of business.
Mrs. E. R. Huston, chairman of
the school board, visited the high
school Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Dix, the second grade
teacher, is unable to teach her
classes on account of a bad case
of the flu. Mrs. McNamer is
taking her place.
Miss Mildred Farrens spent the
Thanksgiving vacation with her
relatives at Lexington.
Carey Hastings purchased a
new Chevrolet coupe last week
from the Heppner dealers.

joyed Thanksgiving dinner at the
