to this area, and to all of us individually, of this humanitarian institution.
There is no finer hospital for its size in all Oregon and it has only recently been enlarged to take care
of an ever growing need for more beds in the institution. It has been built by you to the most exacting
specifications and is equipped with all the modern facilities for the complete care of every patient in every
emergency. All services are available at Pioneer Memorial that are found in larger hospitals with the excep
tion of X-Ray therapy and physical therapy.
Your hospital now boasts a total of 44 beds, 28 of which are for general hospital care. There is a spe
cial 4-bed pediatric ward in the new wing which makes it possible for yaur children to receive the best possible
care when needed; the X-Ray, surgery and maternity equipment is the most modern and complete that can
be found in cny hospital. Six prominent physicians and surgeons comprise the medical staff of your hospital
and a staff of 35 nurses, aides, assistants and other employees are available to care for the patients' needs.
Pioneer Memorial is YOUR hospital and you are urged to take advantage of this opportunity to inspect
its complete, modern facilities for caring for the needs of the sick or injured.
