Farewell Party Given
For Nancy Harshman
A surprise farewell party was
given fur Nancy Harshman on
Thursday before she moved to
Walla Walla.
Carol Anderson was hostess at
her home assisted by Nancy An
derson. Fifteen fiursts were present in
cluding the Wa Can te Ka Camp
Fire Girls. ;uests were Nancy
Harshman, Connie Anderson,
Rose Ann Ayers, Celia Boulden,
Sharon Case, Jeanne Collins, Bon
nie Ilannan, Florence Morris, Kay
Sayers, Brenda Townsend, Mary
Kvelyn Tucker, Janice Driscoll,
Cant lee Corbin, Mary Johnston
and the hostess.
Guest of honor received many
nice gifts.
Games were played, refresh
ments served, and most of the
quests attended the movie.

Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hisler enter
tained with a dinner party on
their 2Gth wedding anniversary,
at their home on Butter Creek.
Those present were Mr. and
Mrs. James Sumner, Mrs. Marie
Monahan, Mr. and Mrs.' James
Monahan and the host and the
hostess.
LEGION AUXILIARY
MET TUESDAY
The American Legion auxiliary
met Tuesday November 16 at the
Legion hall.
Mrs. Richard Wells asked that
members contribute new or old
gifts for the Portland gift shop as
soon as possible. The gifts are to
be distributed to needy children
at Christmas time.

the Duplicate club at her home
last Thursday.

at the home of Alice MeCabe, on
Thursday evening November 11.
During the meeting it was de
cided they would make laundry
bags for the Veteran's hospital in
Walla Walla, Some members
agreed to furnish material and
others do the sewing for these.
It was reported the club had
made 26 pack wraps for Pioneer
Memorial hospital.
