A bridal shower was given in
honor of Mrs. Wallace Gaarsland
in the basement of the Commun
ity church Friday evening Nov. 5.
She received many lovely and
useful gifts. Mrs. Jack Healy
and Mrs. Clyde Crawford assisted
with the gifts. The hostesses
were Mrs. Herbert Ekstrom, Mrs.
Delmer Crawford, Mrs. Deibert
Emert, and Mrs. Elmer Holtz.

to Girls State in Salem at the
Auxiliary meeting Tuesday even

of the Auxiliary will be Nov. 16
at 8 p. m. at the Legion and
members are to bring gifts for
the gift shop for the Portland
Veteran hospital. These gifts are
for the veterans in the hospital
to select for their families for
Christmas gifts. The Auxiliary
will welcome gifts from anyone.
