$19.30 cwt., Delbert Anson, man
ager of the sale, reports. Don Ben
nett. Heppner, consigned 6 ewes
and 8 baby lambs that sold for a
top of $21.00.
Volume of cattle consigned was
up with 121 persons consigning
small lots. Consigned were 510
cattle compared with 511 the
previous Friday, 145 hogs com
pared with 123. and 1S3 sheep
compared to 111 -
Prices were generally steady
to up slightly on cattle, except for
canner-cutter, in slow demand as
at other markets. Steer calves of
better quality were up SOc to
$19.30 cwt., grass or grain fat
slaughter steers of improved fin
ish and quality "P 40c to $21.90
cwt., bulls up 20c to $11.40, and
heifer calves up 60c to $17.80. Fat
