In our study of jovernmetit, the
eighth grade class practiced the
freedom of voting. A nominating
convention was held in January
at which candidates Vrre elected
for every office. Then a primary
election was held. The top two
candidates of the primary elec
tion were put on the official bal
lot of the General Election. After
the general elwtwm, the follow
ing officers were elected. Presi
dent, Nona Fast; vice president.
