Well Attended

at the Elks' Ladies Night card
party Thursday evening. High in

dist Church met Saturday even
ing January 5 at the Lincoln
Nash home. Tress McClintock
showed pictures of their trips to
California and the National
Parks. Refreshments were served
to about 25 by the hosts Mr. and
Mrs. Lincoln Nash and Mr. and
Mrs. Tress McClintock.

- Word was received of the mar
riage of Mis Edna Hughes,
daughter of Mrs. Grace Hughes,
and Hurley Kohlman on Decem
ber 29, 1951 in Portland. Follow
ing her graduation from the local
high school, Miss Hughes worked
for a time as deputy county clerk
and has since worked in Portland.
