"Pioneering in Rehabilitation" was shown at the annual Christmas party for Oddfellows and Rebekahs Wed nesday evening in the club room at the Oddfellows Hall. The pic ture, a full length color film, is sponsored by the Oregon Society for Crippled Children and Adults and tells of the work done bv the society with the monev re ceived from its sale of Easter seals. It showed scenes of the work beiner done at the nursing school and hospital at Eugene and the summer recreational Dro gram for crippled children and adults. The sale of Easter seals is handled in Morrow County tnrougn trie efforts of Laverne Van Marter, chairman and Mrs. Francis Mitchell, vice-chairman. Following the showing of the film, pinochle, bridge and can asta were played. Each member brought a gift which is to be sent to the Oddfellows Home for the members' Christmas. Those in charge of the Drocram were Mrs. Mary McMurtry, Mrs. Jeanne uobbs and Mrs. Ruth Pavne. Re- freshments were served by Mrs. Pearl Devine, Mrs. Eugenia Hus ton, Mrs. Ben Anderson and Mrs. Clara B. Gertson Hospital Staff Hold Christmas Party The staff of the Pioneer Me morial hospital held a Christmas party Tuesday evening at the John Ernsdorff home. Bineo was played for grab bag prizes, by the twenty one present. There was a Christmas tree and ex change of gifts, the staff pre senting , Ernsdorff with a gift from all of them. Refreshments featured a birth day cake in honor of Bill Lowe. The cake was made by Mrs. Ted jpierson for the occassion. A. Shirley officiating. The bride, given in marriaere bv her father wore a white formal and an or- chid corsage. She carried a white prayer book. Her attendant was Miss Dorothy Harris, sister of the groom, who wore a white dress with an orchid iacket and a cor sage of red rose buds. Wesley Harris, brother of the eroom. was best man. He sang Because, ac companied by Miss Dorothy Har ris. Rooms were decorated with poinsettas, holly and red and wnne carnations. The bride's mother wore a black and silver dress and the grooms mother a Navy taffeta dress. Both wore red rose bud corsages. A reception followed the wed ding at the McCabe home. MJrs. Franklin Lindstrom served, the three tiered cake after the hride and groom cut the first piece. Mrs. Ritchie of Hermiston poured. Both are aunts of the bride.
