visited Mr. Lundell's brother,
Charles and his cousins, Dale and
Kenneth Lundell. They also visit
ed the Carl Feldmans and Web
ster Hamletts at Sunnyvale. They
reported that Mr. Bert Mason of
Oak Groves is staying at the Feld
mann home. The Lundells came
home up the coast and stopped

Class A Halter classes will be held Friday, September 7th, 9:00
a. m. in lot in front of Wrangler Barn.
Rules for all events are posted in window of Frank Turner's office.

Mr. and Mrs. Fanklin Lind
strom were Hermiston visitors
last week.
The Health Examination for
entering first graders of lone
school will be held at the school
at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sep
tember 5. All parents of children
who will be six years old by No
vember 15 are invited to bring
their child to this clinic for pre
school examination required by
Oregon school law. Children who
will enter the first grade this
year who do not take advantage
of this clinic may bring certifi
cates of examination from their
family physician. Miss Tapan
alnen, county nurse, has placed
examination blanks in the offices
of Heppner doctors. Members of
the lone P-T. A. will assist with
this clinic.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bolman of
Bakersfield are visiting at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Heliker. The Bolmans
have been vacationing in Denver
and Salt Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Tad Hardesty and
son, Gary, and Herbert Olden of
Portland spent the week end at
the home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Dobyns.
Mrs. John Turner of Baker
spent a few days last week with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Engleman.
Mrs. Gordon White and Mrs.
Larry Fletched entertained the
Arnica Club recently at the Co
operative Church.
