The election will begin at 2:00 P. M. and will be held in the school house or place designated by local board in each of said component districts. The reasons for increasing such levy are: The low tax base due to the fac -hat some districts lost their base and others could only be in creased 6 per year while costs avp gone up more rapidly dur ing ,-ind after the war years. In creased costs are due to Increas ed cost of personnel, supplies,, equipment and services; to add ed services like transportation, hot lunches, music; to oringing school physical plants and equip ment up to meet the required standards. The total base for all districts in the Rural School district is $109,407.08 and the total to be raised by tax is $310,356.00.
