RECENTLY FORMED BAND
CLUB TO MEET MONDAY
The first regular meeting of
the Heppner Band Parents club
will be held at 7:30 p. m. Mon
day, February 12, in the high
school gymnasium. After a short
business meeting an hour of
band music will be enjoyed. The
program is planned to demon
strate the method by which the
band is trained. Featuring each
type of instrument, the beginner
on through to the graduate will
play in rehearsal groups.
The band instructor is anxious
to establish personal contact
with the parents and urges that
all may attend. This invitation
extends to all of the community
and anyone who Is interested is
cordially invited.
Exchange concerts between the
lone and Heppner bands are be
ing arranged. These will be an
nounced soon.
Remember this Friday's bas
ketball game. This is the night
when The Thine will be exposed.
