NEW TAX STARTS JANUARY 1
Forms for listing the 1 percent
withholding tax on salaries and
wayes will be sent to all known
employers soon after the first of
the year, says Earl Fisher, state
income tax commissioner. This
action is the result of a decision
validating the act and handed
down this week by the state su
preme court. The withholding
provisions of the new law and
the lowering of income tax ex
emptions will it is reckoned, in
