At a meeting of the Morrow
county 4-H council, held at the
county agent's office Saturday
afternoon, March 22, plans were
laid for 4-H activities for the re
mainder of the club year. Coun
cil members Mrs. Jean Nelson,
Mrs. L. A. McCabe, Mrs. Harold
Becket, Mrs. Lucy Rodgers, Jo
Anne Graves, Faye Cutsforth, B.
C. Pinckney and Louis Carlson

LEGISLATIVE SESSION
RETARDS PRINTING OF
ANGLING SYNOPSIS
In answer to the numerous in
quiries regarding the 1947 ang
ling regulations, the game com
mission advises that the state
printing office has had to delay
the printing of the angling syn
opsis until the present legisla
tive session adjourns because of
the pressure of work broupht
about by the legislature. The
synopsis will be printed and dis
tributed as soon as possible and
sryouid be available prior to the
opening of the general angling
season.
Opening of the trout season
falls on April 26 throughout the
state with certain exceptions, in
cluding tidewater areas, Lake
and Harney counties and various
lakes and streams having spe
cial seasons or closures. The
trout season in tidewater sec
tions will open on June 15, in
Lake county on May 20. and in
Harney county on May 31.
Cloth signs have been sent out
to commission fieldmen for use
in posting waters that are clos
ed to angling or that have spe
cial seasons.
