Present Program
An enjoyable afternoon was
spent by members ol Rhea Creek
grange and friends at the hall
Sunday afternoon when the an
nual Christmas party was held.
The program, in charge of Mrs.
Walter Becket, was presented
by the Hardman school children
under the direction of Mrs. Wal
tler Wright and Mrs. Stanley
Robinson. A fine dinner preced
ed the program.
Rev. J. Palmer Sorlein, pastor
of the Heppner Methodist
church, spoke during the dinner
hour and Mrs. Sorlein was fea
tured as soloist on the program.
The evening closed with an
exchange of gifts.

a deputy collector will be in
Heppner January 2, 1947, to as
sist farmers in filling out their
