THOMAS BOYD COPENIIAVER
Chapel services were held Wed
nesday afternoon at the Phelps
Funeral Home for Thomas Boyd
Copenhaver, 42, whose death oc-j
curred Saturday at Lexington. O.
Wendell Herbison, pastor of the
Heppner Church of Christ, officiat
ed and music was provided by Mrs.
Clyde Dunham. Interment was
made in the Heppner Masonic ce
metery. Mr. Copenhaver was born Nov.
21, 1903 in Lexington, being the
son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Copen
haver who farmed in that vicinity
for a number of years. He had been
employed in Umatilla county the
past two years and was spending
the week-end at Lexington when
death came. He is survived by four
brothers, Lonnie of Orland, Calif.,
Edgar of San Mateo, Caif., Law
rence and Lee of .Grants Pass, and
two sisters, Ethel Swift of Athena
and Stella Ely of Portand.
