Tuesday from the Church of j Christ in Heppner for Mrs. William i Sibbett, 24, who met instant death Friday in a car accident at Imb ler. Rev. Fletcher Forster officiated and arrangements were in charge of the Snodgrass and Zimmerman Funeral Home of La Grande. Mary Kirk was born August 6, 1921, at Heppner and spent her childhood here. She was married to William Sibbett in 1941 at Soda Springs. He is serving with the armed forces overseas. Surviving besides the husband are two young Sons, Robert and Richard, her mo ther, Mrs. Ira McConkie of Elgin, her father, E. L. Kirk of Heppner, two. sisters, Mrs. Frank Gates of Junction City and Mrs. Juanita Wilson of Milton a brother, Lester Kirk of Elgin, and several uncles, aunts and cousins. The meeting wil open at 10:30 a. m. and continue to 3:30 p. m. A potluck dinner will be served at noon and each person attending is asked to bring a main dish, sal ad and dessert, a sandwich, plate and sliverware.
