Sunday visitors at the G. M. Allyn
home.
Mr. and Mrs. James Leach of
Portland spent a few days last week
.visiting friends and relatives here.
They have just returned from a
six weeks vacation which they
spent touring the United States and
Canada.
Roger Campbell left Monday
morning for Bremeton from which
point he expects to receive his dis
charge soon. He has had 18 months
service in the navy.
Mr. and Ms. Ladd Sherman and
family of Hermiston were Sunday
guests at the C. C. Carmichael home.
Orval Haigh of Colorado Springs,
Colo, who has been visiting at the
A. M. Edwards home, left Monday
for Arock, Oregon.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Way and fam
ily returned home Sunday from
Seattle where they attended the
wedding of their son Claude and
Miss Maxine Myers which occurred
Saturday afternoon at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Vinson. The
groom was recently discharged
from the navy after 31 months of
service. After a short honeymoon
the newlyweds expect to come to
Lexington for a visit with rela
tives and friends.
Mrs. Don Gosnell and daughter
Donna Lee left Sunday evening for
Omaha, Neb. to visit relatives.
Mrs. Juanita Martin and son
Tommy spent the week-end visit
ing her father near Monument.
Mrs. Alice Majeske and son Don
ald have returned home from Pen
dleton where Donnie was a patient
in the hospital for about ' a week
suffering from an attack of pneu
monia. Albert Edwards, ARM 3c, son of
Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Edwards, has
been transferred from the naval
air station at Lake City, Fla. to
Hutchinson, Kans. from which place
he expects to be discharged some
time this month.

elected delegates to the Rebekah
convention to be held in Medford,
May 21 to 23.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hunt and
son Clare went to Salem Saturday
where they attended the wedding
of Miss Helen Neiger and Harold
Cherry.
