    CAP Receives Aids
For Visual Training
Additional equipment for train
ing members of the Civil Air Pat
rol has been received and will be
put into use at the next meeting
of the local chapter. Included in a
shipment received early this week
are a projector and films to be
used in visual training. More equip
ment is on the way which will give
the unit quite a complete set-up
foraequiring flight knowledge as
well as the ground work in avia
tion. Radio work is to be featured
and there will be model planes for
studying types and numbers.
Classes are held each Monday
evening in the agricultural building
at Heppner high school. Lectures
are given in connection with the
showing of films to give students a
better understanding of the work
shown.

Bonds provide a surplus beside
the pride of ownership.

COUNTY COURT REPORT
FOR OCTOBER, 1945
The minutes of the September
term were read and approved.
The Court orders the amount of
$20,000.00 transferred from the
Market Road Fund to the Road
Sinking Fund.
The Court orders the amount of
$3,502.53 transferred from the Mo
tor License Fund to the General
Road Fund. ,
.The Court orders the payment ot
the following Bangs' Disease
Claim: Henry C. Vogler Jr., $48.00.
The Court orders the. publication
and sale of the following County
PXtsy:i, 2, 3, 4, 19 and 20 in
Block 19 Town of Irrigon, Mor
row County, Oregon for the rnii
nimum price of $50.00, cash.
The Court agrees to rent a por
tion of the County shed building
on Main Street to The Dalles
Freight Line for freight purposes
at $25.00 per month. This is only
a temporary arrangement and will
not last later than March or April
of next year. ,
The Court orders the transfer ot
$20,000.00 in U. S. War Bonds here
tofore bought out of the Market
Road Fund to the Bond Sinking
and Interest Funds and $15,000.00
in cash from the Bond Sinking
Fund and $5,000.00 in cash from the
Bond Interest Fund is hereby
transferred to the Market Road
Fund in payment of said Bonds.
