Mrs. R. C. Lawrence took her
two daughters to Pendleton Mon
day to place them in the academy
there. Others taking their children
were Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Cox,
whose daughter Genevieve attends,
and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cohn who
have registered their daughter,
Sally in the academy.
Don Hatfield has returned to
Heppner from Tillamook where he
was helping out in his father's
store. He was accompanied by Gene
Carver. Both young men are em
ployed at Rosewall Motor company
and are living at the home of Mrs.
Cyrene Barratt.
