Kathleen Furlong Becomes Bride of Frank Anderson Heppner Gazette Times, August 30, 1 945 5 Methodist Church School Chooses Officers for Year In the presence of the immediate families, Miss Kathleen Furlong of Portland became the bride of Frank Anderson of Heppner at 9:30 o'clock a. m. Jaunday in a ceremony per formed by Archdeacon Neville Blunt at the All Saints Episcopal church. Mrs. Louise King, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of hon or and Dr. R. C. Lawrence acted as best man. The bride was ' given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Dale Brown.. Following the ceremony the new- lyweds left for western Oregon on ! S a three-weeks honeymoon alter which they will be at home to their -iriends at the Anderson ranch southwest of Heppner. Mrs. Anderson's mother, Mrs. Minnie Furlong, and sister, Mrs. Joseph K. Carson, and the Carson children, Joan and Lucian were present for the ceremony. Both Mr. and Mrs Anderson are well and favorably known in Mor row county, where both were born and where Mr. Anderson has spent his entire life. Mrs. Anderson made her home in Heppner until moving to Portland a few years ago. Mrs. Milton Spurlock underwent a major operation at St. Anthony's hospital in Pendleton Monday.
