GIRL SCOUT TROOP II
ENJOYS YARD PICNIC
Girl Scout Troop II recently en,,
joyed a back yard picnic at the
home of their leader Mrs. Harold
Cohn. Twenty troop members, two
visitors and four adults were pres
ent. All practiced tying four dif
ferent types of knotts with ropes.
Games were played after lunch.
Saturday, July 28, this group met
again. All members of the troop
have been asked to collect scraps
of colored silk, crepe de chine and
chiffon for Mc CaW hospital and
bring to the next meeting.
Four more members of the troop
have "flown up", that is passed the
Tenderfoot lest' and received the
Girl Scout pin. They are Fern
Biddle, Autumn Couture, Nancy
Adams and Marjorie Pierson. .

Harold Erwin of Enterprise was
in Heppner Saturday looking over
ranch prospects in Morrow coun.

Charles Erwin of Prescott, Wash.,
