LIFE WAS JUST A
BOWL OF CHERRIES
Due to an oversight of the lino
type operator this item should have
appeared in last week's issue. She
offers him her apologies.
This ofifce is deeply indebted to
Lauren Corwin for a beautiful box
no, that doesn't sound right a
box of beautiful cherries, product
of his grandfather's fruit farm in
the Hood River valley. Life around
the little old shop has been "just
a bowl of cherries" all . week now
and the staff can testify that the
Hood River fruit may have rivals
in other sections but
peers. This is by way of saying
uianK you to our erstwhile stereo
typer and to compliment him on his
ability to select and pack fruit.
