OREGON PUBLISHERS MEETING
IN ENGENE FRIDAY-SATURDAY
Newspaper publishers of Oregon
will hear reports on the war and
make plans for the future on Fri
day and Saturday in Eugene at the
58th annual meeting of the Oregon
Newspaper Publishers association.
Three spakers from Washington
D. C. and one from California will
"headline" the program which will
be bolstered by several Oregon
men speaking on various phases of
newspaper industry.
The Gazette Times head man left
early this morning to try to get
through to Eugene in time for the
entire program. He may have to
thumb his way, travel being what
it is. ; 1'fJ
