Other" gifts were taken to Pen dleton to be taken on to McCaw in cludean accordion, gift of Roert Turner; balls of sewed rags and many pocket sized books, donors unknown; six decks .cards, Mrs. Victor Rietmann; box of puzzles, Mr. and Mrs. Hanson Hughes; three games, fishing tackle and set of Mahjong with instruction book sent by the Philip Algers of Portland;; box comic books, Donald Gilliam, three complete sets of golf clubs with bags and balls, gift of Earl Gilliam, Len Gilliam and Lt. T-A was held Wednesday evening in the music room of the school house. Installation of the new officers who are, Harold Beck et, president; Mrs. Tress McClin tock, vice president; Mrs. Conley Lanham, secretary and Dick Wight man, treasurer, was held. A one act play, "The Man from Heppner", was presented by Heppner students, as part of the program. A most at tractive tea table provided refresh ments at, the close of the meeting.
