SECOND NEPHEW KILLED Mrs. Joe Hughes received the sad news of the death in action of her nephew Pfc Kenneth Bassett Wil 'iams of Portland. Kenneth was a civil engineering graduate from Oregon State college, where after graduation he was an instructor for two years before he was inducted into the army. When he was at home on his embarkation furlough in November he was married. He was shipped across in December and was killed in Germany in Feb ruary. His brother Ralph was killed at Tarawa in November 1943. HAVE DAUGHTER Mr. and Mrs. Raymond D. Fergu son are the parents of a 7 pound, 8 ounce daughter at 12:15 Monday morning at the Corda Saling home.
