The Lexington high school is putting on four one-act plays and the date has been set for Friday evening, March 23. There has been an epidemic of dog poisoning in Lexington this winter. Several children have lost their pets and there seems to be no let-up. The latest victim was a little dog belonging to a boy serving overseas and only quick action on the part of the family saved it. This seems to be a very poor way to show our appreciation to the boys who are giving their all that we might live in ; safety over here. No. 33 initiation will be the chief item of interest at the regular meeting Friday night. Refreshments will be served also.
