Sonny McClellan was taken to
the Pendleton hospital and Gus
McLouth was taken to the Her
mk.'on hospital the first of the
week both ill with pneumonia.
Twin boys were born to Mr. and
Mrs. E. J. Garrett at Hermiston
Monday. , Graveside services were
held at the cemetery Thursday 'af
ternoon for one of the babies that
lived 24 hours. The other babe and
the mother are both getting along
fine now.
Erna Skoubo of the nurse cadets
is spending a few days at home.
Billy Steinmetz went to Portland
to spend several weeks. His mo
ther came up after him.
Lt. Ted Wilson is spending a few
days visiting at home.
Mrs. , Al Macomber and children
of Portland spent the week-end
here visitting relatives.
Bud Ball, Bill Harter and Clay
ton Allen have gone to lone to
work in the harvest.
