My work in the Navy prevents me from coming to Morrow County to make a personal campaign. My enlistment is for the duration of the war only. When the war is oyer (and I hope that is soon) , if I. am nominated and elected, it is my earnest hope and desire to return to Morrow County and again take an active part in its welfare. My work in the Navy has given me valuable experience and training that will be beneficial to me in the perform ance of the duties of Sheriff.
