A FAMILY REUNION
A family reunion was held at the
home of Mrs Corda Saling on June
16, at which time several members
of her family were present. Coming
from Boise, Ida., were Mr- and Mrs.
Gearle Booher; from Walla Walla,
Mr. and Mrs. John Warren, brother
of Mrs- Saling; from Ukiah, Mr. and
Mrs- Hubert McDonald and from
Portland, Rita Bell and Carolyn
Johnson- Dinner was served to 25
people.
In "Britain, about 150,000 tons of
timber,, salvaged from bombed
buildings, have been refinished and
made into crates and boxes for im
portant war uses.

French ranch Wednesday evening.
Mr. French's little pet doe "Minnie"
presented the Blue Mountain Ranch
with a set of twin fawns on that
evening.

phone for E. J- Craber this week.
Lester Wick and wife were over
night visitors at Al Lovgren's. He
is shipping his sheep from Heppner
to summer range this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Garold Booker of
Boise were visiting her,e Wednesday
with Mrs. Maude Robinson and Mr.
and Mrs. Sam McDaniel Jr. of
Reed's Mill. Mrs- Marion Saling of
Pendleton accompanied them here
from Heppner and visited her par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. I. McDonald

Delmar Buschke went to Morgan
to work for his uncle Ed Buschke.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs- Max
Buschke, brought him to Heppner
from Tupper station.
Mrs. O wen Leathers has been a -pointed
community chairman for a
drive to pponsor funds for the sun
room pledged: by Morrow county
to the Blue Mountain Camp and
Hospital council, of which Mrs.
Ralph I. Thompson is county chair
man. This drive will start at once,
since Morrow county is behind
schedule.

viiited at Tupper Sunday.
