The bed, bedding and clothing upstairs were a complete loss. Some furniture downstairs was saved. They are liv ing in the Lena grange hall until a new house can be built, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Brosnan have been working on a small new house this winter, for themselves, but it was n't completed and they hadn't mov ed yet. Jim Ayers of Hermiston spent Wednesday on Butter creek visiting friends. Mrs. Dora Moore was a patient at St. Anthony's hospital from Tues day until Thursday. Mrs. Harris of Hermiston is work ing at the Russell Moore home. Miss Helen Vogler pent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs Henry Vogler. Helen is a senior at Washington State college at Pull man. A linen shower was given Thurs day by the Pine City club ladies in honor of Miss Donna Logdson of , Athena, bride-to-be of Guy Moore, son of Mrs. Roy Neill. Mrs. Neal Knighten and daughter and Mrs. Clarence Moore of Hard man, and Mrs. Cason and Mrs. Rit chie of Heppner attended the show er for Guy Moore and Donna Logd son on Thursday at Pine City. Mrs. Robert Smith and son of Ir rigon called Thursday at the Rus sell Moore home. They left this week end for Portland to make their home, Mr. Smith is working in the ship yards at Portland.
