ferson Evans, Deceased.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that
the undersigned has been appointed
administrator with the will annexed
of the estate of Jefferson Evans, de
ceased, by an order of the above en
titled court.
All persons having claims against
the estate of said deceased are here
by notified to present the same to
me at Heppner, Morrow County,
Oregon, or to my attorney Homer I.
Watts, at his office in Athena, Uma
tilla County, Oregon, within six
months from the date of the first
publication of this notice.
All claims must be verified as by
law required.

ed Executrix of the Last Will and
Testament of M. J. Davin, deceased,
by the County Court of the State of
Oregon, for the County of Morrow,
and has accepted such trust. All

Notice is hereby given that three
public hearings will be held by the
Hydroelectric Commission of Ore
gon, the first hearing to be held on
Friday, February 20, 1942, at 2:00
o'clock P. M., in the Circuit Court
Room of the Court House in Moro,
the second hearing to be held at
10:00 o'clock A. M. on Saturday,
February 21, 1942, in the Circuit
Court Room of the Court House in
Condon, and the third hearing to be
held at 3:00 o'clock P. M. on Sat
urday, February 21, 1942, in the Cir
cuit Court Room of the Court House
in Heppner, to consider the voters'
preliminary petitions . for the for
mation of the Mid-Columbia Peo
ples' Utility District, which petitions
were filed in the office of the Hy
droelectric Commission on Decem
ber 27, 1941. The proposed district
would include a parcel of territory
and the municipalities of Arlington
and Condon in Gilliam County, a
parcel of territory and the munici
palities of Heppner, lone and Lex
ington in Morrow County, a parcel
of territory and the municipalities of
Grass Valley, Moro and Wasco in
Sherman County, and a parcel of
territory and the municipality of
Fossil in Wheeler County.
Maps showing the boundaries of'
the proposed, district are on file in
the offices of the county clerks of
the counties involved and available
for inspection by persons interested.
The boundaries of the parcel of
territory in Morrow County are de
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the northwest
comer of T. 1 S., R. 23 E., W. M.;
on the Morrow-Gilliam County
Line, thence along section lines
as follows: east 10 miles, south
1 mile, east 3 miles, south 2 miles,
east 2 miles, south 1 mile, east 2
miles, south 1 mile, east 1 mile,
south 1 mile, east 1 mile, south 1
mile, east 1 mile, south 1 mile,
east 1 mile, south 1 mile, east 1
mile, south 1 mile, east 1 mile,
south 3 miles, west 2 miles, north

thence west 12 miles to the Mor
row-Gilliam County line, thence
north along said line to the point
of beginning.
All persons interested are invited
to be present at the hearings at
which times the Hydroelectric Com
mission of Oregon will make a re
port of its preliminary investiga
tion and will hear evidence in favor
of and against the formation of the
proposed district.
