New members, all of whom are Heppnerites, include Hester Peavv. Cecelia Healy. Rose Hoosier, Dorothy Gene Davolt, Vir ginia Lee, Virginia Humphreys, Margaret Wright, Maxine Browning, Lela Feterson, Gwen Glasgow, Doris Jenison, Frances Weaver, Evelyn Isom, Elsie Mollahan, Thelma Jar oes, Anna Q. Thomson, Harriet Ha ger, Jerry Watson; also Irene Zinter and Anne Thomas who were unable n b" nresent. After an impressive ceremony Hallowe'en games, supervised by Leta Humphreys assisted by Rose Leibbrand, were enjoyed and group singing was led by Rose Hoosier. He went out early last Thursday morning, hunted in the Shaw creek district, and was back in town by 9 o'clock the same morn ing with a nice buck. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Turner motor ed to Portland Sunday and returned Monday night. Bill Greener of Hardman escorted his brother Elmer of Hillsboro and two companions on a hunting trip the end of the week and each bag ged a nice buck. Judge Bert Johnson and F. W.
