Title 110, Chapter 9, Article I of
Oregon Compiled Laws Annotated
.1940, Volume 7, the tax collector of
Morrow County, Oregon, has duly
prepared a list of all real properties
within said County and State upon
which three years have elapsed from
the earliest date of delinquency of
taxes levied and charged thereon,
and on which two or more annual
instalments of delinquent taxes, each
such instalment being one-quarter
of the earliest date of delinquency,
have not been paid in accordance
with the provisions of Title 110, Chap
ter 8, Article 8, Oregon Compiled
Laws Annotated 1940, Volume 7, and
which said taxes are now subject to
foreclosure; that such list is known
as the "Foreclosure List" and con
tains the names of the several per
sons appearing in the latest tax roll
as the respective owners of tax-delinquent
properties, a description of
each property as the same appears
in said latest tax roll, the year or
years for which the taxes are de
linquent on each property, together
with the amount of delinquent tax
es of each year, for the year of 1940
and prior years, and the amount of
accrued interest thereon to the date
of June 15, 1941, at the rate of eight
per cent per annum; that a copy of
the said list is hereinafter set forth
and included in this summons and
notice.
You and each of you are further
notified that in the subjoined tabu
lation of this summons, the left hand
column thereof under the words
"Name of Owner as shown by Latest
Tax Roll and the Description of the
Property" is the names of the per
son or persons appearing on the lat
est tax roll in the hands of the sher
iff for collection as owner or owners
of the property described immedi
ately under such name or names and
such description shows the descrip
tion of the several tracts of land
herein referred to as the same is
described on the tax rolls of Mor
row County, Oregon; that in said
description, the abbreviation "DR"
means Deed Record, and the figures
indicate the book and page of Mor
row County Deed Records wherein
said tract is described; that the cap
ital letters "N," "S," "E," and "W"
mean respectively North, South,
East and West; That "Heppner Ay
ers' 4th" means Ayers 4th addition
to the city of Heppner; That "Hepp
ner Mt. Vernon's" means Mt. Ver
non's addition to the city of Hepp
ner; That "Lexington Penland"
means Penland's addition to the city
of Lexington; That "lone Sperry's
2nd" means Sperry's 2nd addition to
the city of lone; following each de
scription in said tabulation and read
ing from left to right, the column
reading "Sec. or Lot" indicates the
Section or Lot number; that the col
umn headed "Twp. or Block" indi
cates Township or Block; that the
column headed "Range E. W. M."i
indicates Range East of the Willam-1
ette Meridian; that the figures in
the column headed Years of De
linquency" indicate the years for
which the tax is delinquent; that the
