TRANSFERS MADE
Al Macomber was recently trans
ferred to Spray in his work as main
tenance man with the state highway
department, leaving for his new lo
cation the end of the week. Succeed
ing Macomber here is Oscar Rippee,
local mar who has been stationed
at Pilot Rock for the last year. Rip
pee has moved his family back to
their residence here, while Macom
ber will not move his family until
the close of the school year.
H. A. Yeager of Spokane, and R.
A Yeager of Yakima were in Hepp
ner on Sunday. The Yeagers, for
mer residents of Heppner, were
visiting their father who is very ill.
