July registration continued to show the decline noted in tourist registration this year, with 27,125 cars this year against 31,721 cars for the corresponding month last year. Seventy-five percent of the tour ist registration in July represented cars from the three western states, Idaho, Washington and California. There were 4 cars from Hawaii, two from Meico, three from the Philip pines, two each from Guam and American Samoa and one from Bra zil. Cave City, Ashland and Brookings led the various registration stations in Oregon for the number of out-of-state cars reported for the month, Cave City with 4,995, Ashland with 4,453 and Brookings with 2,814.
