Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. Finch were hostesses. High honors went to Bertha Ayers and Burt Barnes and consolation to Mrs. E. B. Wattenburger and Marion Finch. Lloyd Baldridge visited Sunday at the Roy Neill home. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Bartholomew drove to Yakima Saturday to meet their daughter, Mrs. H. Sethers and daughter Phoebe and Betty Finch, their grand daughter who attends school in Pine City. They plan to spend a week. Ray Ayers and Buck Hazleton spent the week end at the Ayers home. '. Jim Daly received word this week of the death of his brother who lives in Ireland. Mrs. Lois Kent purchased a coupe last week. She drove to Hood River for the week end. The buildings at the A. J. Vey ranch were undergoing a complete paint job to be completed for the rodeo, April 28. McAtee Paint shop of Pendleton has the contract. R. E. McGreer returned Monday night from a week's tour of Central Oregon and left Tuesday morning for Maupin. Mr. and Mrs. E. B. "Wattenburger and daughter Darlyne made a bus iness trip to Pasco, Monday. Mrs. R E. McGreer and children visited in Pendleton, Monday afternoon. John Edward Harrison spent the week end with his aunt, Mrs. George Currin and son Ronald.
