Hearing Slated
on Antlerless Deer
Public hearing on the question of
another open season on antlerless
deer in Grant county will be held
on May 11, at 10 a. m. in John Day
by Oregon State Game commission.
The May meeting of the commis
sion will be held in John Day on
May 10 and 11. The first day will
be devoted to survey of the terri
tory and! the second to hearing del
egations. At this hearing the com
mission will determine the effect
of the open season on antlerless
deer last year and decide whether
another open season would be prac
