HOTICE OF EXPtBATION OF
PERIOD OF REDEMPTION
(Continued from Page 8)
tax rolls for the year 1937 and prior
years on which a period of three years
had expired since the earliest date of
delinquency, and on which there had
not been paid two annual installments
of such delinquent taxes, each install
ment being one-quarter of the taxes of
the earliest year of delinquency, to
gether with interest and costs thereon
upon me respective parcels 01 real prop
erty described therein for which no
prior certificates of delinquency are
outstanding, on real property located
In Morrow County, State of Oregon,
and owned respectively by the defend
nnts ns therein named:
That thereafter, and on the date of
August 4, 1938, the said tax collector
proceeded to foreclose said Certificate
No. 1, and filed Application lor Judg
ment foreclosing Tax Liens in the Cir
cuit Court of Morrow County. Oregon,
and caused notice thereof to be pub
lished in the Heppner Gazette Times,
a newspaper of general circulation in
.said Countv. for four successive weeks:
That thereafter, and on the date of
November 17, 1938, pursuant to Sec
tion 69-820, Oregon Code, as amended
by Chapter 470, Section 3, Oregon Laws
of 1937, the Court did give Judgment
and decree for such taxes, assessments,
penalties, interest and costs as appeared
at that date to be due upon the several
-Darcels or tracts described in said sum
mons and notice of application, and on
which taxes, assessments, penalties, in
terest and costs had not been paid, and
by such payment redeemed from said
foreclosure of tax liens, and that the
Court further decreed that the lien or
liens be foreclosed and the property or
properties be sold in satisfaction there
of, and that the property or properties
be sold directly to the County for the
amount of taxes, interest, penalties and
costs for which such property was sev
firallv liable: that thereafter, on re
ceipt of a certified copy of the order
of the Court, the sheriff did issue a
certificate of sale of said property to
Morrow County. Oregon, covering all
mich nronerties:

You and each of you are hereby noti
fied as the respective owners of the
legal title of the several tracts of prop
erty hereinabove described as the same
appears of record and as any other per
son or persons known or unknown hay
ing or clamiing to have any interest in
or to said tracts of property, that un
less said tanda are redeemed from fore
closure before the date of November
17, 1939, the date which is one year
from the date of Judgment and Decree
of foreclosure of Tax Liens herein, by
payment in full of the amount appllca

and Decree, with interest thereon as
set out in the above list, ana costs in
curred herein, the Sheriff of Morrow
County, Oregon, pursuant to Section
69-821, Oregon Code, as amended by
Chapter 470, Section 4, Oregon Laws
of 1937, will, on said date of Novem
ber 17, 1939, issue to Morrow County,
Oregon, a deed covering any and all of
the real properties described in this
notice, and that, upon the execution of
such deed, said properties shall be for
feited to said Morrow County, Oregon.
