Two Federal Agency

Washington, D. C, Sept 13
Grants Pass, Oregon, has contributed
two governors of the federal Home

at one time connected with the
Grants Pass railroad and was in bus
iness in Portland prior to being se
lected governor of the board. Del
ano was appointed comptroller of
currency, leaving a vacancy which
is now filled by James F. Twohy.
Prior to and since his connection with
the HOLC, Twohy has been inter
ested inx endeavoring to extend the
Grants Pass railroad to Crescent
City, Cal. For years he was presi
dent of Twohy Brothers Co., a con
tracting firm which constructed ex

and Washington and which also
built the Grants Pass railroad.
