Editorial
Stdents, our last chance to put
the finances of H. H. S. out of the
red is coming this Friday. The pub
lic speaking plays are the last pro
gram of the year from which pro
ceeds go into our treasury. The
members of the casts of these plays
have been working hard in the last
several weeks and have prepared a
very interesting and entertaining
evening's program.
Let's talk these plays up around
town. All of us may not sell tickets;
but even if we aren't, we should
talk it up at home and on the street
Every ticket that is sold means that
much more money for us as students.
A prize of $3.00 has been offered to
the person selling most over $10
worth of tickets. This should offer
an incentive to sell tickets.
There is plenty of room in the gym
to handle all of the people who
should buy tickets at the pre-ticket
sale, so don't let up when you have
sold several. Let's put these plays
across and show the people of Hepp
ner that we aren't lazy and also have
some very fine talent in good old

HUMOR (?)
Dubby: I sure wish some of Con
nie's pretty cousins lied here.
Libby, what is this we hear about
you and Dick ? (Kingsley's
cousin.)
Where was Hugh when Cora
wanted to go home Saturday night?
We have heard that Cliff Fay is
thinking awfully hard about Doris
Scott of Lex, but is too bashful to
do anything about it.
...
Band
The band played on the streets of
lone and Lexington last Saturday
afternoon and on Main street of
Heppner later in the day. In the
evening the band played its contest
numbers at the dance held for it.
